Cone roller bearings
What is a spherical roller bearing?
A spherical roller thrust bearing is a type of bearing designed specifically to withstand heavy loads and tolerate axial and radial forces. These bearings consist of two rows of barrel-shaped rollers arranged in such a way that they are located on both sides of a central unit. Due to the unique design of the rollers and rings, spherical roller thrust bearings are capable of handling both axial and radial pressure simultaneously. These bearings are commonly used in applications where there is a need to transmit very heavy loads and strong forces at different speeds. Additionally, due to their self-aligning properties and the ability to tolerate axial and angular deviations, these bearings are suitable for situations where precision alignment and deviations are of high importance.
The design of the barrel-shaped rollers in these bearings increases the contact area with the rings. This feature leads to better load distribution along the length of the rollers and improves the capacity to withstand larger axial and radial loads. Due to their ability to handle heavy loads, spherical roller thrust bearings find applications in various industries, including automotive, manufacturing, steel, mining, and many industrial machines. These bearings are produced in various designs, sizes, and structures to meet the diverse industrial needs.
