What is a temperature gauge?

Temperature gauge or thermometer is a tool that can measure the temperature situation in mechanical facilities and the environment according to environmental conditions and appropriate standards.

Measurement methods can be classified into contact and non-contact.

The contact method uses the contact of a sensor, which can be a thermocouple. This method of measurement in analog models is mostly done by bimetal or gas-filled method, which is made of a bubble and a capillary tube, which is known as a gas thermometer.

The non-contact measurement method is based on the amount of infrared radiation that the target body emits to the environment. These thermometers are known as pyrometers or rifle or slip thermometers.
