What is auxiliary pressure measuring equipment?
Ancillary equipment is used to protect pressure measuring equipment from high or low temperatures, clogging, corrosion, vibration or separation of measuring equipment for calibration and repair.
All kinds of pressure accessories
The peripherals most commonly used in pressure measurement are as follows:
Snubber & Pulsation damper
Liquid Filled Tools
Over Pressure Protector
Siphons
Diaphragm Seals
Manifold
In the following, we will describe and use each of the mentioned sensors.
Two common causes of faulty gauges and switches are pipe vibration and ambient air condensation inside the gauge. In cold weather, condensation can freeze, resulting in mechanical damage and gauge wear. Unprotected pressure measuring equipment for a pump or compressor never reaches a steady state and their pointer fluctuates continuously. In this case, it is difficult to read the amount of pressure indicated by the gauge. There is a way to eliminate pressure shocks or to average pressure pulses, one is to use a sniper and shock absorber between the process and equipping the instrument; and another is the use of tools filled with liquid.
